Make a Gift
Your gifts help sustain valuable programs and services to improve quality of care for the Parkinson's patient through awareness, education, care, and advocacy. We also continue to collaborate with our partners in care at the Booth Gardner Parkinson's Care Center in Kirkland WA by providing funding for special projects, clinical trials and patient support.
GIVE NOW You may donate online right now using your debit or credit card, via our secure server. You will receive an instantaneous receipt by email followed by an acknowledgment letter by mail. You may also make a donation automatically using your debit or credit card. Many donors find this a simple and convenient way to increase their support. Please call us at 1.877.980.7500 to make this arrangement.
CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS
Many companies will match your donation to the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation. Please contact your employer's Human Resources staff to find out your company's policy on matching gifts. While each company manages its program differently, you can usually request a "matching gift form" from your Human Resources department. The Northwest Parkinson's Foundation does not provide these forms.
Click here for a partial list of companies that match employee giving.
Follow the instructions on the matching gift form and mail it to:
NWPF | 400 Mercer St., #401 | Seattle, WA 98109. Questions? Call 1.877.980.7500.
OTHER GIFT OPTIONS
In lieu of traditional gifts for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions you can make a special occasion gift to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. Just let us know the occasion and the person(s) we should notify of your gift when you make it and we will tell them of your generosity. You receive a tax benefit and the people you honor receive notice that you have made a gift in their honor (amount of gift is not included.)
STOCK GIFTS
Making gifts of appreciated securities can offer you a tax-savings while supporting Northwest Parkinson's Foundation. Contact your broker or financial adviser to learn how.
eBAY GIVING WORKS
Selling something on eBay? Donate a percentage of the final sale (up to 100%) to NWPF. Go to
MissionFish.org DONATE YOUR VEHICLE TO BENEFIT NWPF
Avoid the hassle of car lots, expensive ads and price haggling! Get a charitable gift tax deduction instead! Through our vehicle donation program, you can donate your car, truck, van, SUV, RV, motorcycle or boat to NWPF through the Northwest Charity Donation Service, which in turn sells the vehicle on consignment and sends the proceeds to NWPF. Most vehicles, running or not, are accepted, although some restrictions apply. Northwest Charity Donation Service will help you determine if your vehicle qualifies for the program.
Making a charitable contribution through our vehicle donation program is an easy way to help us fulfill our mission to improve the quality of life for the Parkinson's community. Ready to help? Call Northwest Charity Donation Service at 800.961.6119, or visit their website
www.nwcds.com and tell them you want the proceeds from your vehicle donation to go to the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation. They will help you determine the market value of your vehicle, pick it up free of charge, complete all DMV title transfers, and furnish you with a receipt for tax purposes. After the vehicle is sold they send NWPF the proceeds.
YELLOW BIRDS
Thanks to Mike and Anne Mikkelsen, yellow birds are back with a new price and a mini-version. Because the cost of supplies decreased, they have substantially lowered the price of the yellow birds. By special request, since many of our PD community members do not have gardens, they now offer a smaller yellow or orange bird for indoor display. They will donate half of all yellow bird proceeds to Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation or Parkinson’s research. Please visit
www.yellowbirdsforparkinsons.com.
