Please help me ride the STP and help Parkinson's research at the same time.
The progression of Parkinson's affects movement as in fatigue, slowness, coordination and balance. One of the best ways to counteract the effects of Parkinson's is exercise. I have chosen the Seattle to Portland bike ride as my goal for next summer as therapy for my condition. I am planning to do the 200 miles in two days. I used to do it in one but I am not out to prove anything this time around. I'll just be glad if I can train to that condition in 7 months.
I still need your help though as the other goal is to raise $500 that will go directly to resources, education and care that will benefit the more than 70,000 living with Parkinson’s in the Northwest. Please contribute what you can to my cause. Thank you.
