Night at the Ballpark Celebrating the Northwest Parkinson’s Community
Thursday, October 4, 2012 Safeco Field, Terrace Club 1250 First Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134
Step up to the plate as we pay tribute to those who have made significant contributions to Parkinson’s awareness and care in the Northwest. The evening will feature former major leaguer Ben Petrick (Colorado Rockies ’99-03/Detroit Tigers ’03), diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 22 following his first season in the majors. Ben’s inspirational story, along with the selfless dedication of our many volunteers and supporters, exemplify the resilience and spirit of the Northwest Parkinson’s community and NWPF’s ongoing work to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s.
Festivities begin at 6:00pm with scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
The evening’s program kicks off at 7:00pm and features:
- Special guest speaker Ben Petrick, former professional baseball player - Master of Ceremonies Tracy Taylor of KING 5 - A special tribute to those that inspire and support the work of the NWPF - A delectable four-course dinner presented by Centerplate Catering
Tickets start at $100. RSVP deadline: September 21, 2012
