Dr. Langston is the founder, CEO, and Scientific Director of the Parkinson's Institute. Dr. Langston gained national and international recognition in 1982 for the discovery of the link between a "synthetic heroin" and parkinsonism. This substance, known as MPTP, is selectively toxic to the same nerve cells in the brain, which die in Parkinson's disease.

Dr. Laurie Mischley is a physician at Seattle Integrative Medicine, where her practice is devoted to individuals with neurological conditions. She is author of the book Natural Therapies for Parkinson's Disease. She graduated from Bastyr University in 2001 with a Doctorate of Naturopathy. She conducts research on CAM therapies for Parkinson's Disease and is currently a student of epidemiology at the University of Washington, where she is earning a MPH degree.

Dr. Stephen M. Setter received his doctor of pharmacy degree in 1996 from Washington State University in Spokane and completed a geriatrics fellowship at Washington State University – Elder Services. In 2001 he was honored as the Pharmacist of the Year by the Washington State Pharmacy Association.

Dr. Ro is a board-certified neurologist and medical director of the movement disorders program at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute. She is also board-certified in clinical neurophysiology. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. One of her areas of expertise is Botox injection therapy for movement disorders, specifically dystonia, hemifacial spasm, spasticity and sialorrhea. She also specializes in electromyography and neuromuscular disease, and is certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
