What not to take

It is sometimes suggested that if you will be having general anesthesia then you should stop taking Selegilene, Azilect or Zelopar two weeks prior.

Comments:

I have been taking Azilect 1mg. for almost 1 year. I was reluctant to take it, due to possibility of high blood pressure caused by food containing tyramine, and the anesthesia. I am worried what could happen in the event of a medical emergency. With the hospital crisis these days, Azilect might be overlooked.
