Time to prepare:
About 2 hours
1 cup prunes (or dates)
1/2 cup frozen apple juice concentrate
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
Place all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend. Store in refrigerator.
Use as a spread on bread, crackers or fruit such as apples. Use in place of jelly and add to peanut butter or nut butter.
High in fiber. Natural home remedy for constipation. Low in saturated fat. High in vitamin A and B6.
